Field testing experience on Milwaukee water works station
During construction of North Point Pumping Plant in Milwaukee, Wis, several factors concerning concrete being placed and number of means of testing were studied; relationships found between site temperature near forms, and internal concrete temperature, relationship between field and laboratory test cylinders, experience with use of rebound hammer, and experience with ball penetration test of concrete consistency are reported.
