Effect of maximum temperature and maturity on steam curing of lightweight concrete
Concrete having cement factor of 8 bags/cu yd was studied; maximum temperature of chamber was controlled at 55, 70, and 85 C, and each temperature range of maturities was obtained by varying isothermal period from 0 to 9 hr in 3 hr steps; steam was turned on after delay of 4 hr from mixing and chamber temperature was increased at rate of 10 C/hr; data on physical properties of steam-cured and fog-cured light weight concrete are compared.
