Effect of elastic modulus of aggregate on elastic modulus, creep and creep recovery of concrete
Models for prediction of modulus of elasticity of concrete are discussed and new model proposed which gives satisfactory prediction for wide variety of aggregates and concrete mixes; model explains isolated effect of elastic modulus of aggregate on creep and creep recovery of concrete; experiments were carried out on concretes made with artificial aggregates having large range of elastic moduli; results of these experiments are presented.
