Radiography of reinforced concrete stacks was performed successfully with help of strong cobalt 60 or iridium 192 radiation sources; distinct pictures of inside corrosions were obtained in 18 in. thick chimney wall by placing sources in steel tube inserted 8 ft to inside of stack; film holders were located around stack circumference and were removed after exposures of 24 to 48 hr.
