Properties of expansive cement made with Portland cement, gypsum, and calcium aluminate cement
Development of expansive cements in France, in Soviet Union, and in United States is reviewed; cements were made by mixing portland cement, calcium aluminate cement, and gypsum; mortars were used in investigations, which included evaluation of effects of composition and time and temperature of cure on strength, free expansion, shrinkage, and development of stress in restrained specimens.
