Road bridge has 335 m long center span and two 114 m long side spans; construction of 73 m high reinforced concrete pillars, anchorage of backstays, and suspension of main cables is described; assembled sections of steel construction, starting with 81 ton center section, were floated on pontoons into position, hoisted, and joined successively together.
