Port-Mann bridge in British Columbia; 2100 m long bridge of flat S-shape consists of 586 m long main span built as continuous stiffened steel arch, and of 1514 m long approach bridges with total of 30 spans, built in compound construction and consisting of 20 cm thick concrete slab rigidly joined with welded steel roadway grid; structural details, construction method, and pier founding work are described.
