Static and repeated load tests of delaminated glulam beams
Small glulam beams, some containing artificial delamination, were tested in both static and repeated loading; method of finding bending stress distribution in delaminated beam is presented and method is suggested for calculating shear stress concentration near end of delamination; effect of shear span to beam depth ratio on shear strength of beams is considered to be significant.
