Effects of long-time loads on prestressed concrete beams
Results of tests designed to measure longterm deflections and loss of prestress in prestressed concrete beams are reported; 30 post-tensioned beams were loaded for about 8 yr and changes in deflections and prestressing forces were recorded; all of beams were 42 ft long and simply supported on 40 ft span.
