Restrained torsion of torsionally hyperstatic open cross section beams
It is shown that utilizing methods corresponding to those of conventional beam theory makes it possible to study torsionally hyperstatic systems, with particular reference to continuous beam resting on torsional supports; possibility is also considered that supports be imperfect and therefore hinder only partially torsional rotation of sections to which they are applied; some numerical examples are presented.
