Consideration of elimination of storm overflow weirs from sewers so as to reduce pollution of watercourses in case of combined systems; pollution from storm overflows on sewers may be improved by construction of relief sewers to carry away flows to storm tanks; by constructing storm balancing tanks, cost of relief sewer can be reduced.
