Nepean dam, New South Wales Australia -- Stabilisation of spillway
Dam, producing storage reservoir of 18,000 mg for Sydney Water Supply, is gravity arch structure of sandstone cyclopean masonry; reinforced concrete spillway channel, 1890 ft long, height of walls from 27 to 34 ft, has capacity of 87,000 cu secs; fault in rock necessitated stabilization of spillway by grouting cracks and execution of drainage and inspection gallery. (See also - discussion p 99-104)
