Project completed by California Water Service Co., to serve growing industrial communities near San Francisco; project comprises: artificial reservoir, 1000 Mg. capacity, built in fill; low-head pump station; rapid sand filters, and 10 mi. of concrete pipe lines; reservoir embankment is up to 28 ft. in height and 10 ft. in crest width; reservoir is filled from lower Sacramento at periods of low salinity; total cost $1,300,000.
