Dutch government engineer states that 61 per cent of population use public water supplies, obtained from dunes, underground sources and rivers, about one-fourth of systems being privately owned; government advises communities and subsidizes undertakings; geo-hydrological conditions; maps showing towns and districts in possession of central water supplies; equilibrium of groundwater in sandy island and in dunes; architecture of water towers.
