Weathering tests on filled coating asphalts
Durabilities of filled and unfilled coating asphalts determined both in outdoor and in accelerated exposures; results show that, in general, durability of coating asphalt to weathering can be improved by addition of mineral fillers, and that there is difference in effectiveness of various sizes and types of fillers; data demonstrate similarity between outdoor and accelerated weathering.
