Potential reductions in production costs at iron and steelworks
Use of oxygen and natural gas at Dzerzhinskii works and Zaporozhstal' led to significant reduction between 1958 and 1960 in cost of iron and steel and other products; because of insufficient attention paid to economic indicators at these works, there is overexpenditure on individual items; no advantage was taken of many other big potential inprovements in productivity.
