New 9-story, 225×190 ft wide oval garage in Oakland, Calif, features 56-ft wide outer ramp with 2.1% slope, furnishing both parking space and continuous access, and 19-ft wide inner exit ramp with 7.8% slope; curved ramp and parking deck are made up of precast, prestressed, concrete double-T beams that have axial twist, webs that meet at one end and flanges that taper; curved concrete core wall separates inner and outer ramps, provides lateral stability, and extends above parking level to support 100×136-ft oval heliport cast-in-place concrete pad which cantilevers 13 ft beyond wall.
