Lighting in architectural education
Present situation has emphasized need for better understanding and collaboration between architects and other specialists, particularly lighting engineers, while there is also need for comprehensive approach to education for building; paper studies circumstances which affect architects and lighting engineers and which have influenced way in which lighting is considered in architectural education; few schools of architecture yet adopt similar techniques, although general trend is towards integration of lighting; courses now operating at Polytechnic and Manchester University are presented separately to underline diversity of approach.
