Short span sag calculations with insular bells
Equations for sag-tension relationships are derived to include effect of insulator weights at dead-end spans; for short spans, insulator weight should not be neglected as it has been shown to have considerable effect on sag and tension; actual problem is solved using parabolic formulas; catenary and approximate equations are derived.
