Load-deformation behavior of shells of revolution
Boundary value problem for rates of stress, velocities, and rates of surface tractions which takes geometry changes into account is formulated for study of quasistatic deformations of shells of revolution; attention is directed to use of rate equations in investigating buckling problems and to integral relation in investigating effect of geometry changes on load-deformation behavior; two simply supported circular plate problems are considered.
