Influence of rock's elasticity modulus on behavior of arch dams or dome-shaped dams
Stresses, as well as radial, tangential, and angular deformations of two actual dams were calculated for values of coefficient n (expressing ratio of rock's and concrete's moduli of elasticity) ranging from 1 to 0.05; tests performed on plaster models confirmed validity of calculation method.
