Coal seam 2-Vnutrenniy in Ziminka-Kapital'naya mine of Prokop'evskugol is 2.6 to 4 m thick and dips at 76-80°; 24 m long shield consists of arches with spacing of 0.6 m and is covered by 2 wire nets; dynamometric studies indicate that load in center of arches is 2 to 3 times that at footwall and hanging wall.
