Aluminium in prefabricated buildings
Examples are given ranging from bungalow type dwellings to multistory schools, and advantages of aluminum in this field are outlined; it is shown that recent failure by corrosion of extruded alloy sections used in construction of post-war "prefabs" which were designed for 10 yr life, bears no relation to life of current production using alloys suited to purpose.
