Design features of bridge across Niagara River between Queenston, Ont. and Lewiston, NY; river spans consist of 2 steel box-girder spans, totalling 270 ft, followed by hingeless steel arch spanning 1000 ft between skew-backs in gorge; main arch span is riveted, hingeless, ribbed steel arch, carrying superstructure for 2 24-ft roadways, 4-ft center mall, and 8-ft sidewalk on upstream side; deck is reinforced concrete and roadways are provided with asphaltic concrete wearing surface; ends of arch span deck rest on steel towers.
