Load test of Ganga Bridge at Garhmukteshwar
Tested span consists of 4 simply supported prestressed concrete beams 171 ft 4 in. effective span, with cast-in-situ reinforced concrete deck slab; analysis of deflections caused by atmospheric temperature under superimposed load; comparison of coefficients of transverse distribution of live load between girders with those worked out theoretically by assuming decking as rigid and as elastic.
