Controlled-deflection design method for reinforced concrete beams and slabs
Method in which allowable ratio of span to deflection is criterion, can also be used for estimating deflections in designs in which ultimate strength theory is used; special emphasis is placed on design with light weight aggregate concretes; estimation of elastic modulus of concrete; procedure is presented for design of simply supported beams and slabs subjected to uniformly distributed loads.
