Some research related to ground-water recharge
In model study of infiltration in layered and nonlayered materials 5 models were used to demonstrate general patterns of flow and volumes of material wetted beneath infiltration pits; study of groundwater storage capacity in San Joaquin Valley, Calif, included field study of water-bearing formations, occurrence of water bodies and their quality; laboratory study consisted of detailed study of centrifuge-moisture-equivalent and column-drainage methods for determining specific yield.
