Conjunctive use of surface reservoir and groundwater aquifer was analyzed from point of view of optimal operation, and mathematical model was established considering system to be operated for consecutive number of years; computer program developed for solution of algorithm by means of IBM 7090 digital computer was tested for several combinations of input data, and optimal policy was established for each combination; illustrative example given.
