Review of present position with regard to data available on effects of wind on buildings and structures; effects of natural wind are classified under 2 main headings covering problem of assessment of steady wind loading on structure and oscillatory effects of wind; procedure for obtaining information behavior of structures in natural wind from wind-tunnel tests is demonstrated.
