On impulsive loading of spherical vessel
Propagation of stress waves on basis of constitutive equations for strain rate sensitive plastic material; sphere of strain rate sensitive material is considered; comparison of dynamic solution with quasi-static solution shows that distribution of stresses and displacements along radius of sphere are same; this is illustrated by numerical example of mild steel spherical vessel.
