Decarbonization of bath of large electric furnace
When blowing-through low carbon metal in large electric furnace; its decarbonization is limited by supply of carbon to reaction zone; therefore intensity of reaction increases with increase of number of points for delivery of oxygen (through tuyeres and tubes) and stirring of bath.
