Imaginative scheme will shorten line by 2700 ft in 96-in. diam sewer being constructed in Ottawa, Ont; plan which will permit relocating tunnel and placing it, for most part, in rock rather than in more difficult-to-handle clay of original route, will intercept lateral sewers, and conduct intercepted flows to tunnel by means of new pipe fixed within large outfalls that already exist.
