Overland flow and groundwater flow from steady rainfall of finite duration
Buildup and decay of laminar or turbulent flow over sloping plane is treated by kinematic-wave method, neglecting slope of water surface relative to slope of plane; relationships developed show certain distinct differences from those postulated in unit hydrograph method; problem is extended to include case of groundwater flow through porous medium overlying sloping impermeable stratum, where water is supplied by infiltration from ground surface above.
