Natural and forced convection solar stills
Natural convection still may be expected to have daily production of 0.5 psf; forced convection still produces up to 3 times yield of natural convection still; internal efficiency of forced convection still is linear with increasing brine temperature at constant cover temperature; efficiency of forced convection still with external condenser was increased by dispersion of basin water to increase rate of mass transfer.
