A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
Solution is obtained for distribution of dissolved oxygen in polluted water of stream in which volume and velocity of flow are steady at any cross section, but not necessarily uniform at all cross sections; solution can account for added discharge and pollution along course of stream; in addition, unsteady distribution of dissolved oxygen due to unsteady initial oxygen content and BOD load can be computed.
