Some seismic effects of underground explosions in cavities
Effects created by seismic signal radiated by explosion in such cavity are investigated theoretically; stress concentration around spherical cavity excised from homogeneous elastic medium; case of uniform gravitational field with vanishing lateral displacement; stress distribution around prolate spheroidal cavity in uniform gravitational field; seismic waves generated by air burst. (Available from OTS, Washington, DC$1.25)
