A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
Original data on friction losses in 2 types of corrugated -metal pipes, obtained in course of investigations into hydraulic behavior of corrugated-metal culverts, are reported; comprehensive friction factor-Reynold's number diagram, incorporating all published data on corrugated-metal pipes, is presented and used to develop relationship between peak friction factors and relative depth of corrugations; flow formula is developed to replace Manning formula.
