High-pressure water infusion in coal seams by means of deep holes
Aim of infusion is to increase moisture content of coal to figure of order of seams naturally wet; water is forced into seams beyond point where fissures occur; system of infusion could be developed so that infusion on one shift at end of week would be sufficient to extract coal in relatively dust free conditions during next week.
