Hydraulic cement for water tanks and pipe lines
Studies with mortars of type I portland cement and type IS portland-blast furnace slag cement demonstrate rates at which CaO, Na2O, and K2O would be leached from water carrying pipe lines and water tanks lined with concrete of these cements; results show slight superiority for type IS cement over type I portland cement.
