15-story glass and reinforced concrete building, Chicago, Ill, has two zones with different air conditioning requirements; floor area 16-20 ft in from wall or window is designated as perimeter zone; area from this point in to center of room is interior zone; cooling is provided by refrigeration unit and 600-ton capacity condenser, and heating by two 150-hp oil fired boilers.
