Warping stresses and deflections in concrete pavements -- 3
Theory is presented which accounts for warping produced by nonlinear temperature and moisture variations of sufficient magnitude to result in partly supported slab; subgrade support characteristics are generalized to include time-dependent deformations; behavior of concrete pavements predicted by this theory is found to be compatible with field performance; its use as basis for designing more significant field experiments is recommended.
