Fluxing of bitumen for surface dressing
Problem of fluxing straight 80/100 bitumen with kerosene oil to suit various atmospheric temperatures so as to enable proper adhesion of binder with aggregates is dealt with; laboratory and field investigations were carried out to determine required quantity of flux for different pavement temperatures; results of rate of curing and application temperatures of fluxed binder are included.
