Laboratory study on sand-bituminous mixtures for surface courses
Study shows that by using locally available inexperience admixtures like silt, pulverized brick bats and waste stone dust, etc, with local sand, it is possible to increase stability values of blended sand-bituminous mixtures to well above minimum requirements for bituminous road surfacing.
