Determining dicalcium ferrite and tetracalcium aluminoferrite in fired dolomite
Studies of applications of phase-chemical analysis in determination of phase composition in reaction product of dolomite firing; specimens were fired in kiln at 1350 C with 4 hr soak; synthetic minerals were studied chemically and by petrographic methods; effect of tartaric acid, sodium tartrate, and Rochells salt on dicalcium ferrite and tetracalcium aluminoferrite was studied; selective solvent for tetracalcium aluminoferrite as well as method for determining amount of dicalcium ferrite and tetra-calcium aluminoferrite present in mixture were established.
