Cement injection and concreting work in connection with building of dock at Kockum shipyard in Sweden; dock measures 405×75 m, depth being 9 m; it was built as light dock as penetrating water could be reduced and drained off by injecting limestone 10 to 20 m below sea level; bottom slab is 80 cm thick and rests on drainage layer of coarse macadam; concrete has compressive strength of 350 kg/sq cm, it is watertight and air-entrained and holds 265 kg of cement per cu m; compaction was carried out by using vacuum method.
