OPBID. Competitive bidding strategy model
Discrete probabilistic model of strategy for competitive bidding in construction industry is formulated and tested; model is applied to actual past bidding data obtained from construction contractor; application of model verified thesis that bidding strategy described can assist contractors in increasing their profit from lump-sum contracts obtained by competitive bidding; general computer program, OPBID (Optimum BID), is developed for model utilization.
