Strength, durability, and shrinkage of incompletely compacted concrete
Investigation to determine effects of different levels of compactive effort on compressive strength, durability, and shrinkage of concrete over range of workabilities; results show that even when increase in water content alone is used to increase workability, at low levels of compactive effort comparable with those used in normal building construction, maximum strength may be achieved with high workability high water content concrete.
