Subsidence control in anthracite fields of Pennsylvania
Experiments to test filling of mine voids in subsiding area by process in which "fly ash" will be forced into mine voids by pneumatic flushing methods using air pressure 20 psi; special case where extremely unstable stratigraphic condition precludes use of conventional hydraulic flushing due to slip-fault planes and presence of sharp basins and anticlines; dry material is of 20 to 90 μ size.
