Observations on methane roof layer at Cambrian Colliery
In 1965 thirty-one men were killed and one seriously injured in underground methane explosion at Cambrian Colliery in Glamorgan, Southeast Wales; during investigations of causes of explosion methane roof layer was formed by reproducing ventilation conditions which were believed to have existed at time of explosion; details of layer are given.
