Plain cement concrete roofs for small houses
Due to lack of steel and wood, slightly arched slab roof of plain concrete with 100 lb live load was built on 12×8 ft area; results after loading up to 500 lb per sq ft were satisfactory; savings up to 25% were indicated; details of structure, analysis of stresses, and data on cost for different types of roof presented.
